Well here we are again at the end of the year and we thought we’d once again do a summary of this year (with a few of our favourite photos). What we’ve been up to as athletes but more importantly what our athletes have been doing.
Swim Club
This time last year we were talking about expanding from two lanes o three lanes and we’ve now taken over the whole pool!
Thanks to all our athletes that continue to support the sessions, the amazing staff at Elswick pool and also everyone that’s come along for 1:1 sessions – we appreciate your support.
The athletes that we’ve coached on 1:1 plans have all done really well this year and there are too many achievements to list in much detail but in summary:
- Numerous athletes have completed their first ever triathlon
- Others have conquered their fear of open water swimming
- Loads of athletes getting back on track and returning to racing after time away from the sport
Well done to all of you – you did the hard work and we were delighted to help you achieve your goals.
David got to race for GB again this year taking part in the European Standard Distance Duathlon Championships in Bilbao.
For Sarah it was all about one thing and that one thing was Ironman Switzerland.
So what about 2023?
Well, plans are starting to take shape.
We’ve already entered a few races and have also recently taken on a number of new athletes on coached plans who we’re looking forward to working with throughout the year.
Sarah is returning to have another crack at Ironman Switzerland (do it again, but even better) and will be joined by David and our son Matthew to make it a Swiss Family Levison trio!
So we’ll do some base fitness work over the winter months, work on our technique and skills, hammer the indoor bike trainer and look forward to the warmer months when we can start racing all over again.
How was your year? Got plans for 2022 already? Get in touch if you think we can help you achieve your goals.
